Do you actually remember what you were doing thirty years ago? For most of us, that was a long time ago – but for two colleagues in our team, the answer is quite clear: they started right here with us and have stayed ever since.
Thrown in at the deep end – and stayed
This year, we’re not only celebrating the company’s 60th anniversary, but also the 30th work anniversary of two true veterans of our company. Both joined us in the early 1990s as very young men – full of enthusiasm, motivated and, as was customary back then, thrown straight in at the deep end without a long induction period. They were trusted to do the job, and they mastered it with flying colours.
Anyone who knows them has probably already heard the story of how it all began: “I actually only intended to stay for a short while.” That “short while” has now turned into three decades – three decades in which the two of them have seen a great deal. Ups and downs, major successes and challenging times too. Yet through all the ups and downs, they have remained loyal to us.
Two true specialists with a global reputation
Over the years, our two honourees have become absolute specialists in their field. They have worked all over the world, demonstrating their expertise in countless countries and on a wide variety of projects – and are held in high regard wherever they have worked. Whether with clients abroad or with colleagues here at home: everyone knows them both, and everyone is delighted when they are on site.
